Based in Tokyo, Sakura leads a team of highly experienced and skilled communication professionals. Her primary responsibility is to build, strengthen, and shape the company’s reputation and communication efforts in Japan, overseeing Therapeutic Area communications, Corporate Communications, and Internal communications. Before joining Janssen Japan in 2021, Sakura held progressively senior roles at a global tech company, where she managed various communication areas, including consumer, B2B, and crisis communications. Prior to that, she gained experience working at a global public relations consultancy in Tokyo, where she served healthcare clients.
