2021 became the year where we reassessed what mattered to us in Asia and focused on developing unique policies which made the largest impact on our employees, communities, and customers in the region. To ensure that no one was left behind, we put mental-health on the agenda, placed importance on hiring members of the community with disabilities, highlighted the importance of LGBTQ+I inclusion, promoted fair & equal opportunities in the workplace, enhanced leadership training and expanded our community partnerships with organizations like The Women’s Foundation, KELY Support Group, The Zubin Foundation and Pink Dot HK. But that wasn’t all! At Manulife, we know that in order of thrive together, we must be inclusive to our differences, as we ensure that every single one of us belongs.
